The Web for Tandem Gene Duplication in Plants

Instruction:

The web for Tandem Gene Duplication in Plants (PTGDweb) was designed for identifying tandem gene duplication in plant genomes. This web embedded the pipeline for identifying plant tandem gene duplication, which was implemented in PlantTandemDups. Here, two critical input files should be submitted to this web including the BLAST result with tabular format (BLAST+: outfmt6 or BLAST: m8) and general feature format (GFF) file (GFF3, type: mRNA). Then, tandem gene duplication will be identified in the target genomic region(s) or chromosome(s).

Note: If you need the identification of tandem gene duplication for single genome, which will need huge sever memory, please contact WebAdmin.

For identifying tandem gene duplication
I. input BLAST result with tabular format (BLAST+: outfmt6 or BLAST: m8)
eg.demo file for BLAST result
II. input GFF file (GFF3, type: mRNA)
eg.demo file for GFF file
